How do you get your creative inspiration? My best thinking hits about 3 a.m. The notebook next to my bed has been the catalyst for a lot of creative tornadoes through the years.
I’m currently giving back to the community by: I recently went through six weeks of training to become a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) through Denver CASA. I am now a sworn officer of the court and will support underrepresented abused and neglected children in the city court system.
Most memorable live music experience: William Topley at The Bluebird or the Pre-K Mother’s Day ‘concert’. My youngest decided to break into a rap during the ballad.
Favorite Denver hangout: The deck at TallGrass Spa for my sanity, and the deck at Izakaya for sake (also for my sanity).
Hometown: Action City, Oklahoma (a.k.a Oklahoma City). It doesn’t sound like much, but I wouldn’t have traded it for anything.
