RMC Health | Integrated Digital/Social Campaign

Challenge

RMC Health’s bi-annual Healthy Schools Leadership Retreat brings together more than 500 health education professionals to discuss the future of integrating health and education. Our client was looking for a way to efficiently bring their programming and content to thousands of other health education professionals around the country.

Solution

The CenterTable team developed an integrated, phased strategy that included pre-conference content development, social media strategy and management, an SEO campaign, media relations with our sister agency (GroundFloor Media), a blog strategy, video production, and live video and social media content creation during the conference.

Leading up to the conference, CenterTable developed and implemented editorial content calendars and began working on RMC Health’s SEO campaign, including its on-site optimization. Pre-conference videos were developed along with graphics and other visuals to pique interest nationally in the event. RMC’s blog was populated with strategic longer-form posts and information, and GFM implemented a media relations campaign – both efforts assisting with audience interest and optimization efforts. Additionally, targeted paid promotions to grow RMC’s social media community were also implemented to extend the reach of all efforts with relevant audiences.

Finally, CenterTable served as the social media “arms and legs” of RMC Health during the Healthy Schools Leadership Retreat – managing content, live video efforts, comments and responses from the retreat for Facebook, Twitter, Vine and the organization’s blog.

Results

In just five months, RMC Health’s social media platforms grew by more than 250 percent, and its blog experienced a 275 percent increase in readership. Engagement on social platforms increased 450 percent by the end of the retreat. Our video campaign drove additional interest, including a 200 percent increase in website traffic. Ultimately, more than 5,500 health education professionals who didn’t attend the retreat tuned in in some fashion. This integrated approach produced results that our client tells us “raised the level of what we can do with the retreat and set the bar for years to come.”
