Oskar Blues Brewery’s complex story needed to be told succinctly – from its humble beginnings as a restaurant/live music venue in Lyons, Colo., to one of the fastest growing craft breweries in the country with three restaurants, a farm, their own mountain bikes and a new production brewery in Brevard, NC.
CenterTable’s social media and graphic design teams worked with Oskar Blues to develop a highly visual, timeline-oriented infographic highlighting the company’s multiple milestones since 1997. CenterTable led with statistics and imagery related to the brewery’s explosive growth, which was more likely to pique interest with media and influencers. The graphic chronologically combines more than 35 milestones, telling the Oskar Blues story through 27 different images in a format that is easy for end-users to understand, and one that can be used across a variety of mediums (e.g., website, social media, emails, point-of-purchase and during trade shows and presentations). It was also built as a “work in progress” piece so that it can be updated as new milestones occur, maximizing its return on investment for many years to come.
In just three weeks following the graphic’s creation, it was used at five trade shows and presentations (including TEDx Denver and the Burning Can Beer Festival), received thousands of engagements on social media platforms and the Oskar Blues website, and helped secure media interest about the company’s rapid growth from CNBC, Fortune Magazine, 5280 Magazine and The Daily Meal. The infographic continues to evolve along with the company, and is frequently used to provide an easy-to-understand overview of the brewery to its key audiences and beer enthusiasts around the world.
